WHERE ARE THE SESSIONS HELD

Your photography sessions will be held in my professional studio which is located in Sherwood, Brisbane, 4075. WHEN TO BOOK

It is important to book your newborn session as soon as possible ideally at the start of your second trimester. This allows me to pencil in your estimated due date in my diary and keep a space two weeks either side of that date. I only take on a limited number of newborn sessions each month because of this. Your session will be held in my professional studio and everything from lighting, heat and sound will be controlled to ensure a comfortable session for your baby and family.

WHEN TO SCHEDULE

Newborns are ideally photographed under 2 weeks of age. At this stage newborns are normally still very sleepy, can curl up in adorable positions and be moved from position to position without much fussing. Newborn sessions are held weekdays at 10am and last approximately 2-2.5 hours. This gives us plenty of time for posing, feeding and fussy moments without any rushing.

MY STYLE

Every newborn session is unique. I like to focus on baby while using mostly neutral warm colour tones and textures. Nearer your session date you will be emailed a questionnaire so I know exactly what you hope to achieve from your session. Your end gallery will include an amazing variety of images for you to choose from with no two images looking exactly the same. PARENTS & SIBLINGS

I want to capture those memories for you as a new family with your precious baby. Family photos are encouraged and included in every session at no extra charge. Family images are focused around and on a bed for those real relaxed and natural looking images.

BABY SAFETY

Baby safety is my top priority. Everything is led by the cues, needs and wants of your baby. Nothing is forced upon them ensuring the session is as stress free and relaxing for everyone as possible. I have been trained in newborn posing/safety and I am up to date with all my vaccinations. General hygiene, common sense and hand sanitiser is also used throughout the session.
